Brook Dovichin is a dedicated music teacher who loves inspiring students through the joy of music. She enjoys helping students develop their musical skills and confidence through singing, playing instruments, and exploring music theory. Brook strives to create a positive and engaging learning environment where students can grow and express themselves. She is excited to share her love of music with Valencia Elementary and the local community. In her free time, she enjoys making music, creating art, and spending time with family.

Students in grades Pre-K through 6th will explore music through singing, movement, and playing instruments. Younger students will learn fundamental music concepts such as rhythm, melody, dynamics, and tempo through singing, circle games, and interactive activities that encourage creative expression and listening skills. They will also engage with music through books that introduce musical concepts and stories. As they progress, students will explore music notation, instrument families, and cultural music traditions. Older students will have opportunities to develop their singing and instrumental skills further, as well as explore music using technology. Throughout all grade levels, the goal is to foster a love of music and build confidence in musical expression.
